Suzanne Mcfarlane
Program Director of Caring Callers
Suzanne McFarlane has been a volunteer in the non-profit sector for more than 30 years. She would often accompany her mother, Wanda McFarlane, who has worked as a volunteer administrator since 1970. This instilled in Suzanne the importance of volunteering in her community.
For 20 years, Suzanne has directed different aspects of numerous events for local non profits. She coordinated the advertising and printing for the Multiple Sclerosis Bachelor/Bachelorette auction held in San Luis Obispo. Additionally she has volunteered or coordinated security for KCBX since 1994. She worked as the assistant to Program Director Bonnie Richan of Big Brother/Big Sisters as well as Archie McLaren, the founder and chairman of the Central Coast Wine Classic. When Lifespan Services, Inc. closed its doors, Suzanne implemented accounting procedures for Senior Volunteer Services, as well as serving as the Controller for 3 years. She has served as the Secretary for the Program Advisory Council for Caring Callers at its quarterly meetings.
Suzanne received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management, with a minor in Wine Marketing and Sales.
