Tricia Ritchie is the President & Chief Executive Officer of Wilshire Health & Community Services, Inc., a California not-for-profit, tax-exempt corporation. Corporate Headquarters are based in San Luis Obispo but the organization provides services throughout the communities of the Central Valley and the Central Coast .
Tricia has been with Wilshire for thirteen years and prior to her current position she served as the Executive Vice President providing operational and financial oversight under the direction of the prior president, Ira R. Alpert. Upon Ira’s retirement in April 2008, Tricia accepted her new role as President/CEO where her primary responsibilities include setting the organization’s strategy and vision, developing and maintaining the company culture and building optimal teams to accomplish desired outcomes set by the Board of Directors.
Tricia is a Central Coast native and currently resides in South San Luis Obispo County. When not working, Tricia loves watching her daughters play soccer and basketball; spending time with family and friends at their lake retreat; trying out new recipes when she has the time; and traveling.
Dave Oliver is Vice President at Wilshire Health and Community Service, Inc. where he is currently responsible for Human Resources, Risk Management and Safety for the organization. With a background in commercial loss control, industrial and retail safety, Dave also has twenty-five years of experience in health care safety, risk management and HR.
Having lived all his life in SoCal, Dave met his wife Mary in high school and has been married for 38 years. Their two sons; Brian the oldest and his wife Michele work for Marriott and live in Long Beach while the younger son Jeff, works with a distributor and lives in Diamond Bar.
Now empty nesters, Dave and Mary an RN (retired), were looking to move to a new environment. Wilshire Health and Community Services offered this opportunity to come up to the Central Coast and become a member of the management team.
Outside of work, Dave and Mary spend time doing projects at their home while exploring and discovering the Central Coast by car and bicycle. Dave enjoys swimming, outdoor activities, and is also looking forward to continuing his horsemanship skills.
VP Home Health & Hospice
Laurie Smith leads each of our Wilshire Home Health and Wilshire Hospice agencies. Laurie has worked in health care administration for over 30 years on the Central Coast and has been with Wilshire Health & Community Services, Inc., for 15 years as an Administrator.
Laurie is currently the Vice President of Home Health & Hospice, responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of all of the Wilshire Home Health and Hospice agencies in the Central Valley and on the Central Coast.
When Laurie is not working, she enjoys spending time with her granddaughters and relaxing at her Nacimiento lake house. Laurie lives in Orcutt with her chocolate lab Stitch.
