RN Nurse: Full Time, NOC RN

Under the direction and supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the comprehensive nursing care of assigned patients which includes recognition of emotional, social and cultural factors, encouragement of self‐respect and self‐esteem, guidance toward rational and socially acceptable behavior and implementation of restorative nursing care measures; and for supervision and training of nursing personnel who assist in provision of care to the assigned patients. Full‐time Registered Nurse will act as Case Manager for specific assigned cases, coordinating patient care, and collaborating with other disciplines involved in the patient’s care.
Graduation from an approved school of professional nursing. BSN preferred
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply basic principles of nursing care.
Experience and/or education in the area of the aged, chronically ill, restorative nursing, and/or psychiatric nursing.

Under the direction and supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, the LVN performs a wide range of professional duties that are related to nursing care. Assigned duties are performed within the framework of policies and standards set by management.
Graduation from a state‐approved vocational school of nursing.
Currently licensed as a vocational nurse in the State of California.
Demonstrates knowledge of and ability to apply basic principles of nursing care.
Experience/education in senior care, chronically ill, restorative nursing, and/or psychiatric nursing.
One or more years experience as a staff nurse desirable and Med‐Surg experience preferred.
Current venipuncture experience required and state certification is desirable.
Current CPR card required.
Certified Home Health Aid
Under the direction and supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or designee, the Home Health Aide performs tasks that involve specific services for the patients, which are supportive and complementary to nursing and therapy practices.
Graduation from high school or equivalent.
Current certification by the California Department of Health Services as a Certified Home Health Aide.
Satisfactory score on pre‐employment competency exam.
Previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant and/or Home Health Aide is preferred.

Creative Mediation Positions
Join our Creative Mediation family, as we continue to help make San Luis Obispo County a better place to live as your local community mediation center. We are a team of expert mediators and training professionals, who provide a suite of conflict resolution services to the community.
Join our team of volunteer mediators. This in-depth and dedicated volunteer opportunity allows our community to be a part of the mediation process.
Volunteers complete comprehensive training, advanced training, observations and practical evaluations over a 6 month period of time.

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Creative Mediation, the Programs Assistant supports the overall administration and delivery of Creative Mediation’s programs and services. This role includes administrative support, general office data entry and clerical duties, and working closely with the Programs Coordinator to assist with case and volunteer coordination. The Programs Assistant will coordinate and provide mediation services, provide support at mediator trainings and events, and train program interns. This job operates in a professional, team-based office environment. Creative Mediation is a non-profit community mediation center working with people in conflict. Customer service experience, excellent oral and written communication skills required. Candidates bilingual in Spanish are encouraged to apply. 32 hours per week. Resource Coordinator (Part Time)
Creative Mediation’s Resource Coordinator works directly with at-risk teens and families through the Restorative Dialogue Program which includes services such as Parent/Teen Mediation and Victim/Offender Dialogue. The role includes following-up with families to ensure they are connected to appropriate local resources as needed, supporting the Programs Coordinator in scheduling and facilitating mediation sessions, and acting as the bilingual liaison for Spanish-speaking families. The ideal candidate will show they can work with teens and families with compassion and care, while also maintaining clear and appropriate boundaries. Training and education on Restorative Practices and Mediation will be provided after hiring. Creative Mediation’s main office is in SLO, with a satellite office in Paso Robles. As the program continues to grow, the Resource Coordinator will also provide restorative-based practices such as Circles and Restorative Conferences in schools. Emphasis on North County schools and families. This job operates in a professional, team environment. Creative Mediation is a non-profit, volunteer-based community mediation center working with people in conflict. Experience working with teens and families preferred, excellent oral and written communication skills required. Fluency in Spanish is required.
