Tricia Smith

President/CEO

Tricia started with Wilshire 20 year ago, has been part of Executive Management at Wilshire for over 18 years and the President/CEO for the last 12 years.  Tricia provides overall leadership to all Wilshire agencies, programs and subsidiary corporations.  She is responsible for setting the organization’s strategy and vision, developing and maintaining the company culture and building optimal teams to accomplish desired outcomes set by the Board of Directors.  Tricia is responsible for all mergers and acquisitions, establishing and operating agencies & programs that are sustainable, compliant and deliver on the organization’s mission of helping people live a better life. Dave Oliver

Vice President Human Resources

Dave oversees our human resources departments, which includes implementing recruitment and hiring practices, maintaining safety & compliance, and overseeing onboarding and company culture. Dave’s professional experience entails thirty-one years in Corporate Health Care Risk Management including Home Health, Hospice, Skilled Nursing, and Assisted Living, Alzheimer’s, and Sub–Acute Units. Eight years in Multi-line Commercial Insurance Loss Control and over seven years in Local and Corp Management Loss Prevention and Sales. Learn more about Dave.

Laurie Smith

Vice President of Home Health & Hospice

Laurie’s role is the clinical and administrative oversight of Wilshire Home Health and Wilshire Hospice to ensure quality, ethical, and mission-driven patient care. She has worked with Wilshire for 21 years. Laurie has worked on the Central Coast for over 40 years as a HealthCare Executive in Long Term Care, Home Health and Hospice. Learn more about Laurie.

Dr. Kevin Parzych

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Parzych has been a practicing physician for over 24 years, 15 of those years as a physician for his own practice in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Parzych is also board-certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Parzych has been with Wilshire Health and Community Services for over six years. He is currently serving as Wilshire’s Chief Medical Officer, to help develop new healthcare delivery programs and community-based programs to serve older adults and adults with disabilities in the San Luis Obispo region. He also oversees clinical services for Wilshire’s Home Health, Hospice, and Community Services agencies. Learn more about Dr. Parzych.

ron yukelson

Ron Yukelson

Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer

Among his many duties, Ron is responsible for strategic business planning, business development, marketing and volunteers in addition to operational responsibility for Wilshire’s primary care practice and counseling center. Prior to his role with Wilshire, Ron spent more than 30 years as a senior level hospital administrator, including 14 on the Central Coast for both Tenet Healthcare where he was Chief Strategy Officer as well as Dignity Health, serving as Senior Director, Administrative Services.
